Over the past 8 years we have had an ever increasing amount of websites offering various free services including free storage, games, e-mail, tools and more. These tatics what are they for, are they just to get more visitors, some recognition, or are they spying on us. I usually check them out, because I feel that they always seem to offer something unique not just the same old email service.

The average type of person really needs 2 of the following accounts. For a more full understanding you may wish to peruse the following.

GMail

Why?... Yahoo! and GMail are two of the biggest competitors, they have always competed for your custom, which makes me feel just like a kid in a candy store they each offer newer, cool things including free software that normally you have to pay ridiculos amounts for. GMail has the advantage of controlling several e-mail addresses from the same account, a larger storage 2.79 gig, easier and better software. The disadvantage is you can not register your account directly from the website, this month December 2006 you should be able to. But do not worry, there is someone willing to help (if not, ask me comment for gmail and I will invite you). gmail

Yahoo! Mail

Why?... We have been using yahoo mail for 8 years as it has one of the most fun e-mail providers, and its services seem increasing daily. The Yahoo! Mail Beta has made cooler, but buggy and annoying however you get more than enough space 1.0 GB is ample, for your every day e-mails), many games toys gadgets and other things you can do with your Yahoo! The worlds longest Alphabetical Email Address...

Why?
Because it is as funny as hell. Even as they advertise it: everybody will think your e-mail account is bogus; email software cannot be configured; web forms are unable to read your email address; people have a hard time even typing your address. Let us be honest, it is not meant to be effective, it is meant to be funny. And it is. What is the address, you ask? Let me take a deep breath. 10 Minute throw away Mail.

Why?...Because it is simple and very very useful! Did you ever find yourself wanting to register an account somewhere, and that somewhere asked for your e-mail address to confirm something? You know you are gonna get spammed by doing it, but you do not have any choice - you need that account now; maybe in ten minutes you do not, but you will now. That is where the 10 minute mail comes in handy. Go there, register an account (a random one will be provided), the confirmation will come, and you do not have any problem registering your account. After that - the e-mail is just deleted, no questions asked. If you still need some time, it can be extended by another 10 minutes, and another 10 minutes, and another 10 minutes, for as long as you need. 10 minute mail

Goowy.

Why?... Because it is the nicest I have seen in a long time. In fact, it is not only an e-mail service. It is your own personal online desktop, filled with games, IM, Email, contacts, File Storage, even mini widgets. I am not going to say any more, hoping that you become curious and check it out yourself. Trust me - it is worth it! goowy mail

FreeGabMail

Why?...Because you can easily send videos and audio recordings to all your friends, without having to register an account. Simple design, simple idea. Etherfast presented it more detailed here. FreeGabMail

Well, I am done with that you know it took 2 hours to find all this info for you. Anyway Which one above do you like or already have / own? I must confess that I have not got accounts on all of the above, however all impressed me in some way. Please comment

PookMail the 24 hour email.
I saw on 1 site.
tempinbox.com you don't even have to sign-up just fill in any email address (i.e.. whatever@tempinbox.com) in the website that requires registration It will accept mail for any @tempinbox.com address. You just go to www.tempinbox.com and type in the name you used (i.e.. whatever) and see your mail. Downside is no password but after you get the email you can delete it and no one can see it.
